The TOX Thermo Plus is an insulation wall plug with a rough conical thread and flat head, designed for secure fixing in insulation materials. It features an SW 12 hexagon socket drive with a slot for 8-10 mm wood screws or M8-M10 hanger bolts. A suitable SW 12 bit is included in each package.
The patented design allows installation without pre-drilling or special tools in non-plastered insulation. It helps prevent thermal bridges, avoids pressure loads on the facade, and is immediately load-bearing after installation.
For plastered insulation, remove the plaster with a 24-25 mm drill. Pre-drill wood-fiber boards with a 12 mm drill. After installation, seal the gap between the plug and plaster with paintable acrylic or sealing adhesive to prevent water ingress.
