ETICS Drip Edge with Glass Fiber Mesh and Self-Adhesive Tape

The ETICS Drip Edge with Mesh is designed to create a firm connection between the base profile and insulation material in external thermal insulation composite systems.

Its pronounced drip ledge supports effective water drainage and helps prevent capillary rise beneath the insulation. The integrated glass fiber reinforcement mesh helps reduce cracking where the plaster joins the base profile and provides a clean structural and visual finish.

Materials:

• Alkali-resistant PVC

• Vertex R 117 glass fiber reinforcement mesh

• Mesh compliant with ETAG 004

• Double-sided self-adhesive tape

Installation instructions:

1. Position the drip edge with mesh on the base profile.

2. Secure it using the double-sided self-adhesive tape.

3. Apply adhesive to the insulation material.

4. Insert the insulation material into the base profile and bond it to the wall.

5. Apply adhesive to the lower front section of the insulation to a minimum height of 10 cm.

6. Embed the profile’s glass fiber reinforcement mesh into the adhesive.

7. Remove excess adhesive pressed through the mesh.

8. Level the surface using a metal float.
