EW US 02F / Flexible under sill profile

*Albau flexible PVC window under sill profile with glass fibre mesh, two-side adhesive foam tape and changeable profile angle to ensure elastic connection of the sill profile to the thermal insulation system – ETICS*

**Features and benefits:**

* Assures invisible flexible joint between the sill and the insulation board
* Softened part to accommodate to the sill inclination angle
* Prevents cold penetration
* Protects the system against weather effects
* Prevents hair cracks in the connection point
* Eliminates the need for additional joint filling

**Application:**

* Place the profile to the bottom edge of the window or door opening lower edge and shorten to the required length
* Apply the mortar to the horizontal surface of the window or door wall edge and to the area where the profile mesh will be placed
* Press the profile to the mortar and level with a spirit level
* Then press the profile mesh to the mortar
* Remove and level the excess mortar with a trowel
* After the mortar cures, apply the adhesive (the type of adhesive depends on the sill material, local availability and general specification) for the sill on the surface under the future sill, take off the protective film from the foam tape of the profile and place the sill to the window opening
* **It is forbidden to install the profile at air temperature and surface temperature below + 5°C and above + 30°C**
* It is necessary to protect the profile from direct sunlight and direct weather effects during the whole process until the plasters have dried
