FK Plus / Tile Adhesive

• For bonding ceramic and stone mass tiles in thin or medium layers on concrete or other stable mineral surfaces, or on drywall
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

Application:

• The substrate must be dry and stable; all cracks and voids should be filled.
• Clean the substrate of weak and/or flaking layers.
• Treat very dense and/or smooth surfaces with abrasive material.
• Prime the surfaces with SAKRET UG primer (diluted at a ratio of 1:3).
• Particularly smooth concrete surfaces should be primed with SAKRET QG primer.
• Mix SAKRET FK Plus in a clean container with cold water until a homogeneous, lump-free consistency is achieved.
• It is recommended to use a mixer with a speed of 600 RPM.
• After a maturation time of approximately 3 minutes, remix the mixture.
• Apply adhesive to a surface area that can be covered with tiles within 20 minutes.
• Do not fill deformation joints with tile adhesive.
• Avoid tiling in direct sunlight, drafts, or on damp surfaces.
• Technical data refer to a temperature of +20°C and 50% relative humidity. Lower temperatures increase, while higher temperatures decrease the stated values.
• Protect the tile adhesive during the curing phase from sunlight, drafts, frost, and excessive temperatures (>25°C).
• Hardened tile adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
• Contains cement; reacts alkaline.
• Protect skin and eyes; follow technical instructions. If the adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention if necessary.
• Protect packaging from weather conditions; store on wooden pallets in a cool, dry place. Cover any opened packaging immediately.
