Details:

  • Suitable for temperatures down to -10°C
  • Strength class M10
  • Excellent adhesion properties
  • Ideal for bonding and repair work
  • Outstanding mechanical and climatic resistance
  • Color: Grey

Application:

  • Blocks or bricks must be clean and dry; they should not be icy or frozen.
  • Remove any weak and/or flaking layers from the substrate.
  • Saturate particularly water-absorbent bricks/blocks with water.
  • Mix SAKRET GMS-F in a clean container with cold water (use warm water in winter) until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is formed.
  • It is recommended to use a mixer with a speed of 600 RPM.
  • After the maturation time (~3 minutes), remix the mixture.
  • The temperature of the mortar at the time of application should not be below +8°C.
  • After completion, cover the structures immediately with a waterproof layer followed by insulation, such as polyethylene film and mineral wool boards.
  • The temperature of any substrate or formwork must be such that the concrete does not freeze before reaching the critical or calculated temperature (minimum +5°C).
  • Use mortars with a class of at least M5.
  • Remove any snow and ice from all bricks and blocks before laying.
  • It is advisable to perform thermal calculations for the concrete structure (cooling time of concrete, required insulation properties, and temperature of concrete placement).
  • Above +5°C, anti-freeze additives act as hardening accelerators.
  • Technical data refer to a temperature of +20°C and 50% relative humidity. Lower temperatures increase, while higher temperatures decrease the stated values.
  • Protect the mortar during the curing phase from sunlight, drafts, and excessive temperatures (>30°C).
  • Keep fresh mortar protected from rain and rapid drying.
  • Once the mortar begins to set, do not add water!
  • Immediately after preparing the mortar, wash containers and tools with water.
  • Hardened mortar can only be removed mechanically.
  • Contains cement; reacts alkaline.
  • Protect skin and eyes; follow technical instructions. If mortar contacts the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention if necessary.
  • Protect packaging from weather conditions; store on wooden pallets in a cool, dry place. Cover any opened packaging immediately.
