Preparation:

  1. Surface Condition: The surface to be renovated must be dry and free from dirt, grease, lichens, and paint.
  2. Mechanical Removal: Alkyd-based coatings must be mechanically removed from the entire surface.
  3. Joint Cleaning: Cracks and brick masonry joints should be carefully cleaned of atmospheric contaminants.
  4. Surface Preparation: Loose particles must be removed down to the solid layer of the surface.
  5. Degradation Removal: Cracked and non-homogeneous materials should be mechanically separated or cleaned with a high-pressure washer.
  6. Salt Damage: Remove the old plaster layer affected by salt up to 1 meter above the visible salt line.
  7. Priming: Treat the old plaster with SAKRET TGW primer.
  8. Material Consistency: SAKRET HML4 is a material of loose consistency.
  9. Mixing Options: The mixture can be prepared with a mixer, concrete mixer, or using SAKRET SERVISS’ preparation and mixing equipment.
  10. Mixing Time: Mix for 3 to 5 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
  11. Layer Thickness: The thickness of the layer can range from 5 to 30 mm (single layer thickness: 5-12 mm).
  12. Restrictions: Do not add lime, cement, or additives that improve the properties of the concrete mixture to the dry mix.
  13. Equipment: Do not use dirty equipment for plaster preparation and avoid storing or using bags that are not in proper condition or have been previously opened.
  14. Technical Conditions: Technical data refer to a temperature of +20°C and a relative humidity of 50%. Lower temperatures increase, while higher temperatures decrease the specified values.
  15. Curing Protection: During the curing phase, protect the mixture from sunlight, drafts, and temperatures above 30°C.
  16. Moisture Protection: Fresh mixtures should be protected from rain and excessive drying.
  17. Water Addition: Once the mixture begins to set, do not add water!
  18. Cleaning: Immediately after mixing, wash the containers and tools with water.
  19. Cured Material: Cured mixtures can only be cleaned mechanically.
  20. Chemical Reaction: Contains lime, reacts alkaline.
  21. Safety Precautions: Protect skin and eyes; adhere to technical instructions. If the mixture comes into contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention if necessary.
  22. Storage: Protect the packaging from weather influences; store on wooden pallets in a cool and dry place, and immediately cover any opened packaging.
