Metal Fixing Band for WIS In-Screed Cable

The metal fixing band is essential for securing WIS in-screed cables, with a recommended usage of 1 metre of fixing for every 6 metres of wire.

Application & Features:

  • Layout: The fixing strips should be positioned perpendicular to the heating cable runs to ensure optimal support.

  • Securing: Fixing strips must be secured to the insulation or concrete floor using either fixing nails or an adhesive. Ensuring that there is no movement of the fixings is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the installation.

  • Spacing: Fixing strips should be evenly distributed across the floor, with intervals of 0.75m between each strip.

  • Border Requirements: Ensure a minimum border of 100mm is maintained all the way around the room for effective installation.
