Ready-to-use polyurethane adhesive for fastening foam polystyrene plates on facades and foundations.
Higher adhesion strength, easy to use, less consumption, and higher productivity compared to cement adhesives.
Excellent heat insulation features prevent the formation of frost bridges.
Low coefficient of expansion. Suitable for use in heat insulation systems as an additional material.
Properties:
Powerful adhesion of polystyrene heat panels (XPS and EPS).
Instant adhesion and wall plugging within two hours.
More economical; ready to use in an aerosol can.
Covers up to 9m² of heat insulation panel adhesion for each can.
Minimum expansion during the drying period.
No further expansion and shrinkage after drying.
A lighter material compared to plaster, serving as an alternative used in heat insulation systems.
Does not add extra burden or weight to the building.
High yield of up to 45 litres, depending on humidity and temperature.
Fire Class: E (According to EN 13501-1, refers to B2 for DIN 4102).
Usable at low temperatures, as low as 0°C.
Does not contain any propellant gases harmful to the ozone layer.
Application:
Polyurethane adhesive for fixing polystyrene plates (EPS, XPS) on new and renovated buildings, as well as for fixing and insulating other materials. Best for mounting heat insulation panels and filling voids during adhesive application.
Suitable for fixing foam polystyrene plates on external walls and plinths, as well as filling joints between foam polystyrene plates.
Can be used in the modernization of heat insulation systems (SanReMo) – heat insulation on heat insulation if heat stability improvement is needed.
Foam can be used for material adhesion to various surfaces: mineral foundations (concrete, ceramic bricks, blocks, masonry, etc.), foam polystyrene (EPS, XPS), mineral wool, wood, OSB plates, gypsum board, bitumen dispersion hydro insulation, galvanized metal, and aluminum plates.
Applications require minimum expansion.
Processing:
Put on protective gloves. Shake the canister carefully (10-12 seconds), holding the exhaust valve downwards. Connect the aerosol canister with a foam pistol. Keep holding the exhaust valve downwards during work.
Before adhering foam polystyrene plates to the external walls of the building, it is necessary to mount an aluminum plinth edge or an alternative plinth profile (ALB-EB-PVC-20).
In the thermal insulation system, apply 2-3 cm wide BK-Foam adhesive bars on the insulation plate, parallel to all edges of the plate (3 cm from the edge) and one adhesive bar in the middle of the plate, parallel to the longest edge (distance between adhesive bars ~25 cm).
For insulating the foundations of a building, apply five vertical, 2-3 cm wide adhesive bars parallel to the plate’s shortest edge, maintaining a 2-3 cm distance from the edge of the plate.
When insulating basement ceilings or balcony ceilings, use support until the adhesive has fully hardened.
After applying the adhesive, the plate must be placed against the wall within 5 minutes and pushed slightly using a long trapeze ruler.
The level of the foam polystyrene plate’s surface can be adjusted within 15 minutes. In unfavorable weather conditions (strong wind or rainfall), protective mesh (SN90) or film must be used on the operating platform.
Technical Data:
Usage temperature: from 0°C to +30°C.
Can temperature during use: from 0°C to +30°C; optimal can temperature: +20°C.
