Details:

  • Work Temperature: Suitable for temperatures down to -10°C
  • Base: Cement-based
  • Strength Class: M10
  • Applications: For masonry, plastering, and repair work
  • Plasticity: Plastic when mixed
  • Properties: Excellent mechanical and climatic resistance
  • Usage: Suitable for chimney masonry
  • Color: Gray
  • Hydrophobicity: High hydrophobicity and water vapor permeability

Preparation:

  • The substrate must be firm, stable, and free of cracks.
  • Blocks or bricks must be clean and dry; they should not be icy or frozen.
  • Clean the substrate from less durable and/or removable layers.
  • Particularly dense and/or smooth substrates should be treated with abrasive material.
  • Highly absorbent surfaces should be primed with SAKRET BG or SAKRET UG primer (diluted at a ratio of 1:3).
  • Particularly smooth concrete surfaces should be primed with SAKRET QG primer.
  • Mix SAKRET ZF in a clean container with cold water (use warm water in winter conditions) until a homogeneous mass without lumps is formed.
  • It is recommended to use a mixer with 600 RPM.
  • The temperature of the construction mixture during masonry work must not be lower than +8°C.
  • After completion of the work, the structure must be immediately covered, first with a waterproofing material and then with thermal insulation material, such as polyethylene film and mineral wool boards.
  • The temperature of any substrate or formwork must be such that the concrete does not freeze before reaching the critical or calculated temperature during curing, at least +5°C.
  • Use mortars with a class no lower than M5.
  • All bricks and blocks must be cleared of snow and ice before masonry.
  • It is advisable to perform a thermal calculation for the concrete structure (concrete cooling time, necessary thermal insulation properties, concrete casting temperature).
  • Above +5°C, antifreeze additives act as curing accelerators.
  • Technical data refer to a temperature of +20°C and a relative humidity of 50%. Lower temperatures increase, while higher temperatures decrease the indicated values.
  • During the curing phase, protect the mortar from sunlight, drafts, and excessively high temperatures (>30°C).
  • Protect fresh mortar from rain and overly rapid drying.
  • Once the mixture has started to set, do not add water!
  • Immediately after preparing the mixture, wash containers and tools with water.
  • Hardened mortar can only be cleaned mechanically.
  • Contains cement; reacts alkaline.
  • Protect skin and eyes; follow technical instructions. If the mixture gets into the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention if necessary.
  • Protect packaging from weather influences; store on wooden pallets in a cool, dry place, and immediately cover opened packaging.
