R-TFIX-8SX / Universal Facade Fixing with Plain Screw

The Rawlplug R-TFIX-8SX universal facade fixing is an efficient screw-in fixing designed for countersunk installation, with the option of surface mounting in External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS).

Base materials:

• Concrete

Installation guide:

• Drill a hole of the required diameter and depth
• Use a minimum drilling depth of 35 mm in materials from categories A, B, C, and D, and 75 mm in aerated concrete blocks
• Clean the drilled hole three times
• Insert the driver bit into the recess in the molded head of the R-TFIX-8SX screw
• Insert the dowel into the drilled hole
• When using the R-KWX-063 plate, ensure the teeth are embedded in the insulation material after hammering
• Maintain a minimum embedment depth of 25 mm in materials from categories A, B, C, and D, and 65 mm in aerated concrete blocks
• Apply steady axial pressure while keeping the setting-tool disc perpendicular to the fixing axis
• Drive the screw steadily at high speed until the fixing is secure and the disc touches the insulation surface
