Base Profile with Mesh and Hidden Drip Edge for ETICS

The Base Profile with Mesh and Hidden Drip Edge is designed to form clean horizontal transitions where insulation materials of different thicknesses meet in ETICS systems.

It includes an integrated glass fiber mesh and a concealed drip edge for controlled water runoff and a neat finished appearance. The profile is suitable for an external plaster layer with a total thickness of 6 mm, including the base coat and finishing coat.

Installation instructions:

1. Insert the profile into the narrow horizontal gap between insulation materials of different thicknesses.

2. Apply the base coat to the width of the integrated glass fiber mesh.

3. Embed the mesh into the base coat.

4. Smooth the mesh using a stainless steel trowel.

5. Finish the full-surface reinforcement at the folded edge of the profile.

6. Maintain a minimum overlap of 100 mm between insulation joints, profiles, and glass fiber mesh.

7. Use cutting discs suitable for hard PVC when shortening the profile.

8. Install the profile and complete the ETICS base layer in one working cycle.

9. Follow the project documentation and the installation instructions provided by the ETICS system manufacturer.
