Adhesive for Stone Wool and Polystyrene Insulation Boards

• Base: Cement-based.
• Properties: Contains adhesion and flexibility-enhancing additives.
• Certification: Part of the certified insulation systems SAKRET ETICS EPS and SAKRET ETICS MW.
• Vapor Permeability: Water vapor permeable.
• Weather Resistance: Water and frost resistant.
• Color: Gray.

Application:

Surface Preparation:

1. Surface Condition: The substrate must be dry and firm, with all cracks and voids filled.
2. Cleaning: Remove any less adherent and/or removable layers from the substrate.
3. Surface Treatment: Treat especially dense and/or smooth surfaces with abrasive material.
4. Priming: For highly absorbent surfaces, prime with SAKRET BG or dilute SAKRET UG (in a 1:3 ratio).

Usage Instructions:

1. Mixing: Mix SAKRET BK in a clean container with cold water until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is formed.
2. Flat Walls: If the wall is flat (irregularity <10mm/m), apply SAKRET BK with a notched trowel (notch size - 10mm) over the entire surface of the insulation board to adhere it to the substrate.
3. Uneven Walls: If the wall is uneven, apply SAKRET BK to the edges of the insulation boards (~5cm wide and 2cm high) and place 6 dollops of the material on the surface of the boards, then adhere them to the wall.
4. Mineral Wool Boards: If the insulation board is made of mineral wool, SAKRET BK should first be applied to the surface of the board.

Chemical Composition:

Cement, special inert additives, auxiliary materials, and additives to enhance processing properties.
