CEM Prim / Single-Component Mineral Anti-Corrosion Primer

Details:

• One-Component Mineral Anti-Corrosion Primer: Complies with standard 1504-7.
• Usage: Designed for contact layers before applying cement and cement/polymer repair materials.
• Anti-Corrosion Coating: Protects steel reinforcement in reinforced concrete structures.
• Adhesion Enhancer: Improves bonding between metal and repair mortars.

Application:

1. Preparation:

   • Mix the dry powder with cold, clean water in a clean container until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is achieved.
   • After the mixture matures, remix it.

2. Using CEM Prim as a Contact Layer:

   • Apply with a bristle brush, ensuring an even layer thickness across the repair area. All pores must be filled.
   • Apply the repair mortar while the contact layer is still wet ("wet on wet" method).
   • Process an area that can be covered with repair material within 40-60 minutes.

3. Using CEM Prim as an Anti-Corrosion Protective Layer:

   • Apply with a bristle brush, covering the metal reinforcement with a thickness of 1 mm.
   • Once the anti-corrosion layer has dried (approximately 24 hours), an additional layer can be applied to enhance adhesion.

Consumption:

• For Contact Layer: Approximately 1.5 – 2.0 kg/m².
• For Anti-Corrosion Protective Layer: Approximately 2.0 kg/m², applied in two layers with a thickness of about 1 mm.
